Twin Wall Installations

Don’t have a chimney but want a stove? Don’t worry. A twin wall system may be the solution.  A twin wall flue is a system that allows a stove installation to take place when the property does not have a traditional chimney as is so often the case in new build properties or when building an extension.  We have a wealth of experience in this area.

Twin wall installations

Twin wall systems can either go through the outside wall of the house at low or high level or internally through the house passing through walls, ceilings and lofts.  We can even put the system through a glass roof in a conservatory to give you the solution you are seeking.

Choosing your Twin Wall System

Twin wall systems are generally available in two colours – stainless steel or powder-coated satin black.  As a business we have tried many different systems and are qualified to install any system on the market currently.  However, we do recommend, based on our experience, a quality mid-range system that looks good, is made of robust, quality material, fits together precisely and is affordable.

As part of the free site survey, we will discuss the available options including your choice of stove and hearth, the best location for the stove and the routing of the chimney system to ensure that the most cost effective, compliant and efficient operation is achieved.

We appreciate that installing a new stove and twin wall installation is also about achieving the right look for your room be it traditional, contemporary or something in between. Therefore, we work with you to turn your aspirations into a reality, giving you your own unique installation.

Fully Qualified and Registered

Summerfield Limited is a registered member of HETAS( Heating Equipment Testing and Approval Scheme) which is the independent UK body recognised by DEFRA for undertaking the testing of fuels, appliances and any other associated equipment.  This means we can self certify all installations negating the need for correspondence with your local council.  New and replacement chimney linings are still subject to HETAS certification.  A HETAS Certificate of Compliance will be issued upon completion. This shows that the liner has been installed to Part J Building Regulations.  The information can be required to validate your home insurance and will be required for any home selling process.
